JEE Main Result 2016
Joint Entrance Exam will held by CBSE. The result will be announced by CBSE. The candidates who got merit in JEE Main exam will get admission in BE / Engineering / B.Arch / B.Planning courses in NITs / IIITs / CFTIs / SFIs / others. CBSE is going to announce the JEE Main Result 2016 and All India Rank (AIR) on 27 April 2016.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be soon declaring the JEE Mains Result 2016 which can be accessed by all those students who appeared for the exam just by following the official site www.jeemain.nic.in. Lakhs of students who pursue their Senior level Intermediate course or their 12th standard all across the country plans to apply and appear for the JEE Exam as it can fetch them a greater opportunity to continue their higher studies from any of the highly rated Universities and Institutes in the country. CBSE board will be taking care of this Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which will be held at different levels with an intention to regulate the increasing competition and at the same time select the most talented out of lakhs.

CBSE will also declare the cut off for appearing in JEE advanced 2016 along with JEE Main Result. JEE will conduct the exam and it offer the admissions to all Indian Institutes of Technology. Nearly 2,00,000 candidates will be shortlisted from different categories for appearing in this national level entrance exam. Candidates have to register for appearing in the exam from April 29, 2016.
JEE Main exam consists 360 marks and each section carries 120 marks. The subjects consists in the exam is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total number of questions is 90 divided equally in each subject. There is a negative marking for each wrong answer they will deduct 1 mark. For each correct answer they will allocate 4 marks.
JEE Cut off marks
For the General candidates 105 or above out of 360. And the candidates belong to OBC – NCL 70 marks, for SC candidates 50 marks and for ST 44 marks.
On the basis of score in JEE Main 2016 and normalized score in class 12th or equivalent qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively), separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to B.E / B. Tech. and B. Arch / B. Planning (in institutions other than IITs). This will be declared tentatively in first week of July.
